Half day of work tomorrow – yah!
Freaken scales say up a kilo…WTF!
Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) always gives me a weight spike. Coach Liz told me something about muscle fibres sucking in fluid in order to heal but in words much more scientific than I can remember. It is why you are not allowed to train hard the week before a figure competition because you will hold water in your muscles. It is a good thing because it is NOT fat and means your muscles are getting bigger and stronger which is, after all, why we do it!
