Oh Noes!

I mentioned the other day that my leg was sore, well it’s getting worse!  I thought I’d just overdone it at the gym on Friday but now I’ve got a really sore back as well as leg and glute pain.  I’m fine once I get up and moving, but if I’ve been sitting for a while I have to slowly unfold like a concertina.

It’s 4 days to the City to the Surf and I’m getting worried.  This seems to always happen before I have a run – it happened for the City to Surf last year and Run for the Kids this year.  I’ve been so careful not to overdo it too.   I’m really worried that it’s not going to be okay for Sunday.  Tomorrow I’m going to try to get in to see the physio and hopefully I’ll be able to get it all fixed up.  Fingers crossed.

  4. Take it easy! Definitely get yourself looked asap and fingers crossed it’s only the anxiety playing with you and you just need to breathe.
