Down a little bit this week. Should have been more but I ate too well this weekend. I went to a bbq at a friend’s house on Saturday night and I just can’t resist cheeses.
My challenge for this week is to cut back on carbs. I’m not doing anything stupid like going low carb, not with the amount of running I’ve been doing lately. I just want to get back to regular carbs instead of insanely high carbs, and making sure the carbs I do eat are unprocessed (ie. not cake).
I’ve decided against going to the Run for the Kids training session tonight. I’ve had some aches and pains in my leg so figure I’d rather just have a light run at the park and know I can stop if I have any problems rather than risk overdoing it. Plus it’s Moomba weekend so the city will be awful busy.
I’ve been getting grumpy because my housemate stores all his shit in the hallway. So yesterday I started cleaning up. My room gets so dusty and awful because the hallway is such a dusty mess so he came out of his room and I asked him to get rid of his shit so I could clean. He started thumping things around and I thought he was pissy with me but when he finished, he’d cleaned out all the hallway and it looked lovely. He wasn’t pissy at all, he said he’d been meaning to do it for ages but had been too lazy. So we were all happy because cleanliness is godliness and all that. Today I’m going to get a doormat to stop so much gunk getting into the house. It’s good to have these things sorted.
